Had my car nicked a few days ago (see general section), the thieves took the car keys from the house to get the car.
Having retrieved the vehicle, thanks to Tracker, the thieves still have the car keys and alarm fob. I have spares and all the locks will be renewed on the car before the garage return it to me. Does anyone know if Cobra (8185 model) alarms can be re-programmed as the garage advises that I may have to re-new the complete alarm which sounds crazy to me?
Insurance are sorting locks out for me which does not effect my NCD. But they will only fund for an alarm system to be re-programmed, not re-newed!

Yes mate the old remotes can be deleted!! Contact your local Cobra dealer hopefully they should,nt charge you for it because we do,nt.
