Logitech is brill on WRC 1 and WRC Extreme

I'll second the Logitech - bought it at Xmas for the nipper and it's a good purchase. Tried it with WRC II, CMR3 and GT3 - good job but it took me a bit of getting used to - operator error not hardware error :)

ill third that, great buy, takes a while getting use too but after that you wont go back to the controller.

Is it the "Driving Force" or the "GT Force" one, and how much are they, and from where.

Enough questions :D.. Thanks

Avi 03 January 2003 12:46 AM

Is this it??

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...934720-7877434 Free Toca as well, which would be good, as my copy isn't actually mine :D £79.99

Another vote for the Logitech.

Got my driving-force edition a couple of days ago. Totally rocks on WRC2, GT3.

Managed to find the bundle that included the Wheel/Pedals + V-Rally 3 for 59.99 (apparently this has now been discontinued)..

DP.

Yup, I got the Driving Force one. There was a bundle where you could choose the game you wanted to go with it - V-Rally or CMR3...I just wanted the wheel and pedals as I already had both games...plus another 8. Guy behind the counter thought I was a bit of a driving nut.

The Logitech Driving Force is USB - don't know if it works on the PC though.

The Driving Force is the new version of the GT3 Force Feedback - it's basically the same, but incorporates all the buttons from the pad so you don't need another controller too. It also comes with a kit so you can hold it between your knees if you don't have anything better to clamp it to.

I have one of each ;)

I got mine from Dabs - but there is a company selling them on eBay for £60 !

Here's mine :)

swan 06 January 2003 06:36 AM

S55 HOT - nice, the doll house in the background brings the picture down a bit. :)

S55 HOT 06 January 2003 09:03 AM

Well it is the kids play room and I do have a daughter - that's my excuse anyhow !

Avi 01 May 2003 06:05 PM

Where can i get a Logitech driving force from??/ - Not online?

S55 - It does work on PC, but you need to get the drivers for a logitech wingman :)
