Sounds like a great car...
However I read in car this month that the UK won't be getting it until 2004 :( |
|
It's the soft top that would (if it goes ahead) be here for 2004, the new coupe and engine is in the UK 'by July' this year. Dealers are taking orders for July delivery for the new coupe.

Great cars, I've spent a lot of time driving a friend's 330d wagon. If I had the cash to spare I'd order the coupe now :) But then it'll be at least 35k over here. But we do get the 330xd 4wd version, so how about a 4wd 330 diesel coupe? Yes please...

Thanks for posting that link.
From those pictures, I'm not convinved that the re-styled lights are a total success but I like the idea of the two-stage brake lights! It's about time that an innovation like this made it into production. Taken to the next level, I would have thought that the second (or third ;) ) stage should be a strobing effect of the actual brake light as opposed to them just getting brighter. Cheers, SR PS. I had a 307 hire car in the summer and you could get the hazard lights to flash when you braked really hard ;) Perhaps they are taking a feed of the ABS system? I thought that the Evo VIII was gloing to be closer to the power output of a WRX, ie 220 BHP, 271 BHP for £22000 seems a bit of bargain, even if it doesn't have AYC!!
Sorry, I relise you weren't talking about the EVO, however I just saw it in the 'NEWS' section and thought I'd have a look! [Edited by bluenose172 - 1/2/2003 8:10:20 PM] |
