Can some one please tell me what the widest width of tyre i can fit to a 17" wheel on my sti type r.
I am due to replace the tyres shortly and will be going for Yoks AVS, they do a 235/45r17, 225/45r17 or 215/45r17 obviousley the wider the track the better the traction?

For insurance reasons it's best to stick with the standard width, which I think is the 215 on that car, I have heard of 225's on those rims but wouldn't advise it. :)

Thinking about AV Sports on my STi next time round too, they were fantastic on my old Vectra GSi, if a little short wearing.
