I have previously attempeted to do a run and to be honest I felt a bit embarrassed when only 3 cars including myself turned up. Not to be downhearted, I would like to invite you all Alan's Northern Meet, I would do the exact same route me Apple and the other guy did (Alan's NM7) if they had no objections and dates would be appreciated. I was looking initially at the weekend before Well Lane 4 so that would be 19 Jan 2003
Please, lets have some thumbs up for this one

Need to check my shift pattern but a provisional YES from me, I want all the runs I can get, love playing out in the car

Sounds like FUN!

Lets try and get some numbers together!

Apple 23 December 2002 10:32 PM

Hi Al,

might be up for it now it's loosened up a bit :D but as I'm off to Autosport show week or so before - might be a bit on the skint side :( depending on the "bargains" I find ;)

Apple

PS now got the roadangel for the "did you see the camera?" stunt ;):D (what ruddy camera - too busy hanging on at Mach 9...)

where is the start point for the ever expanding cumbrian posse?

alanjack 24 December 2002 12:04 AM

Last starting point was Hollingworth Lake near Rochdale but I can alter that to suit the majority. The run length is approx 100 miles and should take 2 hours and it covers some fantastic roads.;)
Good repsonse, thanks guys:)

May be able to make it, but depends on the wife's shifts.
Could you E mail or post meeting place and time.

alanjack 11 January 2003 04:17 PM

Millers at Hollingworth Lake was the last meet point as previously mentioned, time would be best at 9.30am with cars leaving at 10am.
Alan:)

Al, unfortunately I'll have to give this time a miss as I'm on an "economy drive" whilst saving up for some mods :) - best of luck if you go out and hopefully I'll be back later...
