Hi there,
is it just like installing a pci card-earth yourself and shove it in. thanks Paul |
|
Paul That's about the sum of it. To be totally safe you could get yourself an anti-static wrist strap. Be gentle wth your memory - no shoving. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif |
Just make sure the pc is still plugged in but switched off and hold the case with one hand and gently push it in eith the other.

If it is DIMM type memory, then it will only fit one way as there are two notches which line up with the socket.
Well, I suppose you *could* make it fit the wrong way with a bit of help from a hammer! Chris. |
If the memory module doesn't seem to fit, take it out and try again. Don't force it. |
Thanks to all of you for replying,i shall be very gentle with it and treat it like the wife, no shoving it in http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gifeh.
cheers Paul |

in evenly tho |
