this is for you who have already relpied on my last golf post.

ok, i have asked at my club (Mapperley G C Nottingham) about doin' a golf society!

anyone seriously interested in attending
E-MAIL ME!

I'M THINKING OF THE END OF OCTOBER, MAYBE A THURSDAY!?!?

I can get a good deal for the round of golf
£50 per 4 (£12.50 each) 18holes!
I will find out what they can do in the way of meals at a good price!

So would £20-25 BE A FAIR PRICE FOR A ROUND OF GOLF, FOOD AND INCLUDING THE MONEY FOR SOME PRIZES?????????????

e-mail me if you would be avaliable to play,
in the week?

it is open to male and female, and would be a Stableford play format with a hcp limit and 3/4 off?!!!!!!

I'm willin'to sort it all out if there are enough who could come to NOTTINGHAM to play!!

if this one gets off the ground, we can do one next year early as well! this one would be a taster for things to come!!!!
would have to have a few more to make it worth while to organise and set up with the club. If we got 6-8 sets of 3 going out would be nice (about 20!!!) i know that may be a bit high,
could i get a mail shot out from the SIDC??????????
If i only get a dozen or less really wanting a game, i would sort that out with out all the bits and bobs of prizes etc!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
If people want to come up for a game anyway I will give them one!!!

I said I'd drive anywhere for a game of golf so Nottingham it is then.

Cheers

I am confident that I will be able to prove to Yex that he doesn't know what 'Crap play' looks like! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Mike. (With more balls than clubs). http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Mike,

My particular style of "cr*p" was diagnosed on my last corporate golf day.

Me: "what do you think the problem is?"

Client: "you're standing too close to the ball"

Me: "oh"

Client: "after you've hit it" ....rolls about laughing

Yex,

LOL, sorry mate

Salsa,

After my initial enthusiasm, I have realised I've run out of holiday this year (thought we talking bout next year actually), so try to keep it going and I'll be up for it next year.

Cheers

Simon

PS Swing di eeps huh? How do you do that?

BarryK 12 September 2000 01:26 PM

Yeah, this would be better arranged earlier in the year before school hols take away any flexibility. Sorry, didn't think of that before and I suppose it is too busy at weekends with golf being so popular.

Cost is OK, but I will have to carry on practising, so that by next spring I might be able to hit it straight!
