Looking at changing in april/may and am considering a MY03 WRX with or without PPP or a MY03 STI. Probably go for a euro import whichever. Whats the opinions?

If you dont use the car much (ie less than 10k miles per year) then i would go with the STi :D
Its an excellent car, lots of grip, great gearbox and brakes, nicer interior and BIG turbo ;) (and quite amazingly hardly any lag!).
Deffo the best of the 2.

Sandycam, you already own the best Impreza yet! Throw a few grand at the motor/chassis and 400bhp in an incredible package is yours. Start by calling Mark (R19KET) at Lateral Performance.

Richard.

agree with hoppy.

my plan was to sell my my00 scoob this year but the market is goosed for 99> cars,so have decided to keep it and do a few more mods.the other reason is all the newer cars are heavier so need much more power than the classic and also if I do start needing boxes, shafts or an engine etc,it should be easier to source for it than newer cars.

nothing too daft planned, like some :p

a good all round sensible package with a bit of everything, unlike JB's that pulls wheelies and flexes under power and buries it's nose in the tar under braking when pushed
