Hi all..
Maybe a stupid question, but I'm new with subaru.
I'm buying a new car. It's either a 2000 model GT or a 2001 wrx both 218 HK versions.

What is the diffrence between those cars other than exterior?
What car is the best and why do you think that?
Can you feel any diffrence driving these cars on snow or rain?
Does both cars have 50 % power both in front and back weels

I hope you can take your time answering some of these question

2001 WRX is heavier by over 100kg but has the same power/torque. That tends to make them a bit slower on acceleration and the turbo lag is more noticable.

Having said that the WRX is better put together, stronger and probably handles a bit better (controversial statement around here that!).

They both have very similar drive-train, i.e 50/50 AWD.

I've had both and I think the old-shape is more exciting to drive in standard form than the new-shape. But in terms of refinement the new shape wins out. If you mod the new-shape (say with the Prodrive Performance Pack) then I don't think there is anything in it when it comes to performance.

But then again, you can always modify the old shape as well ;)
