simple thing i know but what is this wax wizard thing and where do you get it from? ta in advance

TelBoy 05 December 2002 08:23 AM

nellie, in case you hadn't noticed, about 15 threads below this one, there's one with "Wax Wizard" in the title.

Call me crazy, but that might just have the information you're looking for... ;)

If you need more than that, doing a search under, you guessed it, "Wax Wizard", will give you more threads to explore than you could possibly want.

Hope this helps mate.

I think if you talk to Wendy at Scoobyworld she will be able answer any questions you have. Click on there banner ad at the top.

Bexlee 07 December 2002 09:16 AM

Stuart- I use a unicorn's horn as a substitute; just as effective ;)
Are you still wearing those RE011s?

Stuart Knight 07 December 2002 12:37 PM

Bexlee, I keep those as spares in the garage, I have Dnlop SP9000's on the car at the moment. They seem pretty good.

Father Jack Hackett 07 December 2002 08:10 PM

This 993...nearly there.

midlife-crisis-scooby 07 December 2002 09:22 PM

Mark

just to help you along to 1000...?

I've a full Teflon Shield kit , best F...ing "Mod" I ever bought for the car, biggest laugh is the dead flies dissapering off the bodywork in sumer closely followed by the wonder of the Pneu tyre dressing making the tyres shiny !!

I just wondered what to do when things run out? are you cheaper than Scoobyworld? or is this a loaded question

Cheers

Midlife...

PS sorry to mention the blades but do you know of a good substitute?

PPS in my kit has "quick cleanse" whats it for??

Mark Underwood 09 December 2002 11:50 AM

Midlife

Glad to hear that you enjoy the wax etc. Quick Finish....you'll find details of what this is for on the last page of the Owners Manual.

If you run out and need top ups...just email me or bell me on 07966 713177.

yep nearly there to 1000.

Mark Underwood 09 December 2002 11:50 AM

Oh well this 999

Mark Underwood 09 December 2002 11:52 AM

YES! I've done it. 1000 postings.

Midlife...you can get a Turtlewax one from any good accessory shop for around a tenner.

midlife-crisis-scooby 09 December 2002 10:08 PM

Mark

Thanks for the advice,

I'm almost out of cleanse and will order some more soon, it just gets rid of crud on paint like fingerprints covered in ice cream, sun-cream (a real killer for paint)etc I also have a dark blue metallic Picasso which takes the brunt of these things...briliant.

On a REAL serious note, I always get rid of excess water with an old, worn and flexible blade (it's 13 years old) before leathering. Is using a water blade OK or do they damage the paint??

Thanks again for the help

Midlife.....

Mark Underwood 10 December 2002 09:27 AM

Fitz 11 December 2002 04:42 PM

Mark,

Glad to see you are still around.

I sent you 2 emails asking questions about how often to wax etc...

I'll send it again, but if it's easier I'll post it here.

Let me know either way...
