I have changed the oil in my 93 WRX. Oil pressure prior to changing was at about 25psi at idle when warm. Cold start was about 90psi.
Since changing the cold start is 95psi and warm idle is at 32psi.
Also general running pressure seems to be about 70psi. This is about 10psi higher than previous.

The oil used is 15/40 semi synthetic and i've changed from Valvoline Turbo to Havoline. Could this be differences in manufacturers or should I be concerned about high oil pressure?

Pressure is fine it was low before, depending on what oil you use pressure will vary, mine went up by over 1 bar at idle when I chenged to my current brand and reaches peak pressure well before 2000 rpm. Current hot idle pressure is circa 4 bar (56 psi)

Thanks for the reply Bob. I had checked earlier in the day with a local mechanic and he said it was fine also.
