due to an idle problem when cold i removed this valve from inlet manifold(located on opposite side to throttle linkage)at top above throttle sensor.to try and clean it/loosen it.anyway ended up breaking it(bad mistake).does anyone know correct name for this sensor/valve it seems to control the idle speed and how loose the movement in and out shld be mine was really stiff(no pun intended)

Hi, i was gona try the operation you descrbe, but after reading your misfortune, dont think i'll bother,, was told to try give the valve a clean, cos it was sending some sort of signal to the ecu when turning of engine, so ecu was making boost valve tick when engine off, its intermitant, so dont think i'll wory to much. unless its gona kill summit:(.
