I would like to get some STI type fog lamp covers for my MY00 UK car. I understand that you can get the covers and stickers and paint them your self. How much inc pain is this lot likely to cost and from where ?

Also how much of a pain is it to paint them and get a good finish (I assume primer*2, colour*2, stickers then laquer*1)

Try Chris Douma in Holland. Great guy with affordable prices fast deliveries.

v6 if you've got a nice friendly dealer they might paint them for nothing if you are getting them to fit a rear spoiler!!

And before you all say prodrive spoilers are expensive......at the mo they are comparible in price when you take painting and fitting in to account.

Plus if the dealer does their own painting chances are they will do a better job than old bill down the road!!

The STi ones are not covers, they're blanking plates. There's not enought room behind then to fit the OEM foglings or the PIAA or CIBIE driving light kits.

Charlie, the 99MY ones will fit over the standard fogs but nothing else, apparently its a bit tight http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Here's a tip:

Buy the clear covers.

Some toe rag nicked one of my Cibie covers.
