It's a 99 Seadoo GSX Ltd - produces 130bhp. The engine is made by Rotax
The engine is famous for being quite short-lived, although at ~70 hours I haven't had to rebuld it yet! [Edited by jlanng - 12/2/2002 10:30:50 AM] |
.. for my jetski? Nowhere round my way seems to sell them - even the local bike shop.

Monday morning crew?

jlanng -- I've wondered about this for winterising my 2stroke "classic" Suzi. The only recommendations I've had are from shops / specialists in marine outboards.
I guess you'd have to check yellow pages for contacts of your nearest. At a push you could use WD40 in the bores which will keep everything free. Is it a 2stroke or 4stroke motor? |
That's a good idea - will phone an outboard service centre!
It's a 2-stroke 951cc jetski 'preciate it :) |
jlangg -- what make is it? I've often wondered what a bike would be like if you could put a f*ck-off jetski / outboard motor in it, as they are designed to be very compact.
In the 70s, a Koenig-powered bike came 2nd in the 500cc bike world championship -- posthumously. Full story and pics at: http://freepages.sports.rootsweb.com/~muzza/konig.htm It was a 500cc flat-4 disc valve, I heard it at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough way back. Sounded awesome. |
