Steve3drALS 24 November 2002 07:42 PM

id say HELL NO its not real then!

cant tell tho, exact rep (tho cud by the plate as i bet its on an A plate or summat, deffo not D or E like real ones).

what engine in it? i had a while back the exact same car (bought it just to sell on), had a 2.8v6 janspeed turbo in it, huge turbo, 7th injector, huge intercooler, etc etc

dont feel anything like a real cossie tho, even with the same power, jus aint the same... :(

sounded good tho!

TIFF-C20WTH 24 November 2002 08:53 PM

I would say No!!!!!

Something about the rear window does'nt look right, the thick black area around the right hand side of it looks a bit odd!!

Maybe a XR4I

But could be wrong.

Marco Polo 25 November 2002 12:07 PM

i would say no ;)

where's the door mouldings gone ;) they look kak without them ;) :D

Scooby Dooby Blue 25 November 2002 12:19 PM

If he got some money with the R5, i'd say it was a genuine Cossie :D

Paulo P 25 November 2002 12:39 PM

With such low quality pictures it's really hard to see :(

Gaz Jones 25 November 2002 11:33 PM

its not a real one, looks pretty good tho, I will try to get a better pic tomorrow.
its a 2.1 pinto but full cossie running gear is about to find its way under the bonnet.
more pics soon!!!!

gaz
;)

Tony_F 26 November 2002 06:49 PM

Looks Like one I had a while back, had quite a big accident in it on the M62, Mine was a 2.1 Pinto too  , hopefully it's not that one ! ;)

Used to have a private plate , but i think they put it back on a C Reg when the insurance wrote it off , never did get my reg back :( B45tards

Still.. now happy with the Scoob, so much more comfortable :D:D.
I still hanker after a bit of cheap fun though, and find myself looking at 3 doors all the time, Keep having to tell myself i can't run two cars :D

Steve3drALS 26 November 2002 07:19 PM

OH GOD! Didnt see all that black crap around the rear window! That fookin hangin!

Agree with marco, dont like em without the side mouldings.

Trust someone to put a cossie piss take post up, tosser...

About having one as a cheap second car, ****, a rep will be cheap, but youl be very hard pushed to find a half decent complete RHD genuine 3dr cossie for less than about 6grand, duno bout u, but that aint a "cheap" car in my eyes!

RS_Rawli 27 November 2002 12:28 AM

that black rubber thing is the wind delfetor type thing as seen on the xr4x4's by the looks of it

its not a real one

its got a 2.0l pinto in it ;)

soon to be replaced by cossie power

RS_Rawli 27 November 2002 12:30 AM

Avi 27 November 2002 09:17 AM

Gaz Jones 27 November 2002 04:36 PM

gaz

RS_Rawli 27 November 2002 10:25 PM

last time i saw it, it had smoke pouring from the front tyres LOL

planky 27 November 2002 10:54 PM

Didnt that shell only come in 1600cc and 2000cc(cossie)

My mate bought one REALLY cheap and made into a proper cossie rep and still had 1600cc on his log book LOL

RS_Rawli 27 November 2002 11:02 PM

they did 1.6 and 2.0 then cossies (which where a different shell (sunroof model))

later in europe they did mk2 ones!!! which were e n f reg, and where easily converted, these ran cvh's

gaz will tell u, we had a mint rep, built on a brand new shell from fords, it was immac, shame about the suspension (looked like a monster truck) lol
