Hi peeps
Father has a BMW 318iS K reg & needs to buy a set of tyres. Is there any particular tyre that works well with this car ? Thanks. Andy. |

I recon remolds because they a cheap and last for yrs ;) |
The Michelin Sports are very good and grippy, but wear out in no time, the Conti's are harder wearing but noisy, the best compromise was some Dunlops (2000s I think) good grip and lasted for over 30000 miles on my 330d

I would recommend either Michelin Pilot Sports or Bridgestone S03's, both seem to work well with the 3 series

Well its not like this car is going to need ZR tyres so any branded ones wil do the trick. Avoid P-Zeros on RWD as I found them crap on mine, Iam running Bridgestone SO-3s and love them.
For a 318 get Conti's or Pilots, car doesnt need expensive traction tyres. |
My point exactly Tom - the Dunlop 2000s are c£100/corner, the conti's are cheaper, but the Dunnies are beter VFM.
W-rated are what you want for a 318is. |
Thanks for replying peeps.
