Following on from SJ_Skylines post in this forum about meeting up after Christmas.

A few of us have thought it might be an idea to have ago before the silly season starts.

It would also give an opportunity for a team to be built up (name already decided).

So if you want to go along and see what Airsoft is all about and have some fun shooting people and not getting covered in paint then the first adventure is going to be at Eversley on Sunday November the 24th.

Price with gun hire, 2000 ammo, overalls and face protection is £40.

I recommend you bring a pair of boots and gloves.

Please include whether you require gun hire or not and what gun you would like to hire.

Not heard of this before but have now read the links.
How can you tell when someone has been shot, if there is no tell tale paint left behind?
Looks like fun though!

Taking shots relies on honesty and marshalls. Cheaters are soon found out and warned, and if persistant, ejected from the site.

It's worked fine that way for years :)

sqwint - In Paintball how many times have you seen a paintball explode on someone, yet the some how managed not to get hit.

With the threat of ejection from the site and the fact that Airsoft is played on an honour system I would very much doubt people go to cheat. Also more scenarios are played that allow you to get back into the game.

BTW - IM if you want to play you have to actually say "I am wanting to play" otherwise it is hard for us to book a place. Unless you have your own airsoft gun you will also need to rent one!:rolleyes:

So I am guessing better accuracy and rates of fire than paintball as well?
I will have to go for the afterChristmas one, but definatly up for giving it a go
