...and no its not a new type of monster blow off valve ;)

It inhibits lipase production in your gut, and so a percentage of the fat you eat passes straight through - err well actually it may well be some kind of monster blow off valve after all....oily farts is a side effect!

Anyone tried it?

Rob Walker 14 November 2002 09:20 PM

My doctor wanted to put me on it but the side effects sounded a bit nasty so I declined....

Yes I know someone who tried it a while ago. She worked with the wife, It worked for a short while but as you said (WIND)boy O boy did she have it, and the smell that accompanied it. Well smelt nowt like it, they made her sit on her own, but that was not enough the whole building stank. She ended up going to the private clinic £20 for two week course they worked well. Those took away the urge to eat, and not fat busters.

Xenical (oristat) can inhibit only 30% of fat absorption. That mean the patient have to take it as the long term treatment at least 3-6 months to lose their weight. However taking only 1-3 capsules of xenical, fat droplets can be occured. The other side effect beside fat spoiled is deficiency of fat soluble vitamin such as vitamin K. When it comes to the serious decreasing level of vitamin K, then the patient will face of bleeding disorder such as easily bruise. However if we are patient enough to take xenical, we can have the vitamin supplement get along the course of treatment

Sounds like it does a similar job to Guiness, Caffrey's or Bank's Smooth...

I've worked in Thailand a lot (Chom Saam TV) but I never saw a Scoobys there. The best I went in was Pi Byrds's Audi A8 - you may know him (Byrd & Hart)? Mai pen lai... ;)

Do you gave a Scoob?

Again thanks for the (now I note) professional advice.
