Does anyone know who's car this is,just found this pic on a trackday web site,it happened at Donington this week and the passeger broke his neck
Sorry if it's been done before havent been online this week.

Looks like they lost it coming out of craner curves slid onto the grass dug in and fliped over,not sure how bad the broken neck is but doesn't sound good,just go's to show what can happen on these track days :(

I'll bet the emergency services were on the scene a lot quicker than they would have been if the crash had been on a nice deserted twisty back road though. Just hope the guy recovers.

I hate to say it but it is probably because the person had a harness on that they broke their neck :eek:

If you think about it, in a roll situation like this, the passenger (in this case) is strapped upright to their seat, so when the roof collapses, there is nowhere for their body to roll to lessen the impact to the head :(

Harnesses should only be used in conjunction with roll-cages.

:(

& roll cages should only be used with harnesses.

1 of the reason Insurance Companies dont like roll cages is they can cause as much injuries as the smash itself if the person hit a bar.
