On old model its between the alternator and the power steering pump. Its on top of the block in line with the inlet manifold. the one on the side of the block is the water temp probe IIRC.

chiarks site may help

You've got mail!

If anyone else would like a guide to fitting a mechanical boost gauge to a MY01+, mail me and I will send mine!

Does anyone know where the oil pressure switch is located on the new age model? I've just bought a tasty HKS mech oil gauge but I don't know where the switch is...DOH!

Any pics of location would be handy...

If anyone knows the location for the old model too (as it might be in the same place).

Thanks

It's underneath the alternator in the same place as the old shape. Chiark's site does help! I used it when fitting my oil pressure gauge!

On a MY02 it`s to the left and below the alternator. the sender stands upright in the block. You will have to take the alternator off to get at it. pull off the connector, remove the sender and replace it with your gauge`s sender. Put ptfe tape on the threads to ensure an oiltight seal, and tape the exsisting plug somewhere out of the way of your fan belt. Don`t forget to mark the position of the alternator so you can replace it with the correct tension on the belt.
Hope this helps
Bob
