Why does my Forge D/V whistle during idle. This only happens when its cold, once the car is warm it disappears, ie 10-15 min driving.

If the car is revved above 1k rpm, the sound disappears.

A leak somewhere?

The spring has been changed to the blue one, it did not have this problem when I changed the spring over. This has been happening since yesterday.

Does it sound like someone running thier finger around the rim of a glass?

If it does then i have no idea  but mine does it to except it comes and goes at will and has various levels of loudness

Anyone?

Mikey

Must be a leak which fixes itself when the car warms up due to heat expansion. Check turbo and dump valve gaskets.

Cheers.

I reckon its the D/V gasket. Where can I get one from, ie one that will fit the forge D/V.
