The Motorpoint car supermarket is advertising new Clio 172's for £11,999 OTR. How come they are this cheap? I presume they are Euro imports but that is one heck of a saving.

A friend of mine was offered a UK 172 Sport for £13k and a much better part ex price on his 106... That combined with a lack of UK spec alarm on the EU imports meant he was happy with the deal!

Yeah, the Motorpoint ones are euro imports, but they are identical to UK spec apart from the alarm.

I know a couple of people who have get them from Motorpoint and they're very happy with them

Wait until they start bring Clio Cup's in cheap though... ;)

I did ask Euro cars (who also sell Clio 172s for 11,995) if they could get hold of the Cup model but they can't.

Well, I have it on good authority that Motorpoint will be getting the Clio Cup in eventually...
