Does anyone know of a karaoke bar in the Surrey/SW London area?
It's for a friend's birthday and she wants to sing her heart out! :) Please reply here, or drop me a mail if you don't want people knowing you've been! ;) Thanks in advance Andy |
The Robert Peel has good entertainment. ;)
Dan |
LOL Dan you gonna get up on stage and do a number then?
TBH I dont know of any dedicated bars but the Streets of London @ Hampton Court has a Kareoke night on tuesdays or thurs, cant remember which night tho. Reminds me of that AA ad, Little kids says " I'm not helping much am I?" |
Danny,
If you're getting on the stage at The Peel, I'll stop going there!! Krade, I drove by The Streets of London the other day, and it's now closed down! :( Cheers Andy |
The bar on the end of Brighton Pier !
|
Cheers Paul, although it's a bit of a trek from Kingston as an after work thing!
|
Theres a pub in twickenham on the corner by Barclays and the Midland bank used to be called the hobgoblin i think they do karioke ona tues or thursday.
Once again tho my lack of details make it useless :) |
Well shut up then krade! lol
I take it you have all been to Sir Robert Peel then! Ive been told about it but havent been down there yet...... Anyway, im sure there is a place in Twickenham that does Karaoke. i think it depends on what night you are going though?! Edit because i cant spell!! [Edited by M0NEY - 10/29/2002 1:20:59 PM] |
Cheers Krade, I'll look into it, as it's quite close by!
M0NEY, Thanks for that, is it corner by Barclays and the Midland bank?? ;) Ideally a Friday night, but other nights considered! Some of the Subaru and ex-Subaru boys go to the Peel every now and again, but there's normally a post in here! ;) "Peel and Curry night!" ;) |
Andy, there is one inside kingston. just opposite the kingston train station, on the corner.
|
More useless info from me :D
The Duke of Cambridge in Kingston had regular karioke nights but its closed down now, after this and the Streets of London closes doesnt it tell you anything about karioke bars in Surrey? |
Andy
DOnt forget all those in Chinatown. They have a massive collection of english songs as well. Let me know if interested, i can sort something out for you in Golden Dragon. |
Bobby,
I can't sing whether it's in English or Cantonese!!! |
scooby_xt_turbo,
Which pub is that? The Artful Dodger, near the bingo hall, opposite Bagetti's??? Or Barcadia, near The Computer Exchange, opposite the new cinema? I can't think of any other pubs or bars, near the train station, unless you mean The Blue Room? |
LOL the blue room the smallest club in Kigston in fact I think its smaller that Park avenue in Richmond.
|
I've never been there, but there is/was a good kebab shop opposite called Nicks, but it has recently changed names.
|
Have you looked into Ealing as well. I know they do a few things there but im not to sure what pubs. Might be worth looking into though
|
So at the moment the 'Peel' is the best bet. Never seen the ladies on stage sing, but there's been some howlers :D:D:D
Justin Oh and I'd put a tenner in the pot NOT to see danny on stage ;) |
