My quest for another car has now led me to a 98 STi IV Type R V-ltd Can anyone point me to any pictures of this car, or information. I've done the usual SIDC, IOWC and google search, can't find any decent pictures :( Cheers John |

Why don't you change the Steering wheel? Don't they make steering bosses for that model? I've seen one for sale for MY 93-95 in Halfords.

Katana what do you mean?
|
Changing it to an aftermarket steering wheel. I wanted to change it on my MY93 to a momo Tornado (the sweet looking one with carbon fiber). I would've thought that to be the first mod to change as the Nardi that I had anyway was unnatractive.

there seems to be something wrong with your car simon, its seems to be crabbing down the road severly. ;) Fantastic photos, really shows what you can do with a TypeR/RA!
Good excuse to show what an RA can do in the dry too. :D http://www.aironet.btinternet.co.uk/Natday/johnw4.jpg I thought it was an STI 5 TypeR you were going to look at? The standard steering wheel is a nice wheel to drive with, plus it has an airbag. I wouldnt change it myself. |
Exactly, its the airbag that bothers me. It adds weight to the car and to lose weight I should either get rid of the airbag, or get rid of some weight on me. There's no chance in hell I'm going to lose weight or I'll probably dissapear. :D

I'm selling this if you're interested call me on 07971 289 581.

Damn :(
Took me 3hrs to get to view the car yesterday, got there in the dark in the end, he opened the garage door and I'm greeted with a low level rear spoiler and a very early looking car. It was a superb example of a very well looked after low mileage car, I think it was an STi3 V limited (Had the 97 champion badge on the back and the emblem also on the seat backs) :( Heck I aint got a scooby now and I need one bad :D Phiroze Your car looks superb mate, infact I had already printed your pictures off to show my folks what I was supposed to be looking at. YHM asking a few more questions :) John |

John
My mistake, it was printed as an WRX V limited Type R I assumed V was 5, it obviously don't :D |
