just wondered if there are any other youngsters out there getting reasonable quotes! i know its gonna be loads for me but £3,500!! i nearly had a heart attack! i would buy a scooby 2day but im not willing to pay that much!
my problems are - no NCB made 1 claim (even though it wasnt my fault but driver of other car didnt stop so my lovely insurance company said it was an accident that was my fault - even though I was in bed!!!) and im only 21! if it was around £2k I'd consider it!

I am 20 and one of my quotes was around 5 grand on a P1.
I can afford the car just not the insurance

I am paying £ 1300 with direct line, 23 years old with 3 years no claims and a few points. £3500 sounds pretty fair with 0 no claims discount. Before rushing out and buying a scoob, remember that its not only the insurance that costs a packet!!!

i agree with rab - you may pay for the insurance but running a scooby can also be expensive! lol

P1 at 20 - thats just sick! lol. Then again i met a guy who for his 18th birthday his dad bought him a P1 and pays for the insurance which is £8000 i think.

Im 21 with 3 years NCB and the only people that would touch me on a wrx import is direct line or tesco (need a tracker). All the others were asking stupid prices.

You mught have some luch with adrian flux with a Uk model

The only chance you stand of reasonable insurance is on a UK car. Im 21 and did have 3 yrs NCB(1 more week and i would have had 4) and 1 previous claim (no fault) and i had a MY98 UK, and i was paying £1500 with a high voulantry excess.

Due to a MAJOR driving error on my part, (which before anyone starts, im not proud off it and will learn the hard way), i had a total loss claim, and therefore lost 2yrs NCB, my renewal £2080. I shopped around and got it down to £1500 again with a local broker. They did however require a tracker MONITOR fitted and didnt accept the tracker retrieve.

Not sure if you can post the broker but here it is anyway
