thinking of buying my trackday car.

its a freg 8v golf gti,
black
5 spoke tsw alloys,
3 door
tax and tested
immaculate condition
135k
serviced every 6000k

he wants 800 quid, what do you reckon?

ive spoke to 3 vw specialists and 2/3 say the 8v is better for track use as the torque is better for most of the rev range.

any ideas?

Sounds a average price for a F plater.

Thats what i thought, so not cheap then, the car is mint and been local all its life, i havnet been to look at any others yet, but i remember years ago looking at gti`s from the autotrader and vowed i wouldnt do it again, never seen so many so called mint cars that were sheds!

so for a f plate what should i be paying?
