I travel to the Scottish Highland's every Christmas(approx1200 mile's round trip) to see family.
I drive a Vauxhall Frontera (I've also got an Evo 6 RS2 so don't take the pi$$:) ).It's fitted with 255/70/16 tyres. I want a tyre that's good on snow covered roads as they alway's suffer from snow drift's, and preferably cheap as chip's. Road noise etc won't bother me as I'll take them off when I return. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheer's. Mac.:D

Thanks for the car back. If you only went to Sainsbury's why is there another 1,500 miles on the clock, and whats all this cow s*** and the numbers on the side all about???

If you want cheap, try Colways, they do some decent block depth that copes well with soft mud, not sure about snow,

If you want to spend a little more, try Michelin M&S, cracking on both mud *and* snow.

My folks run a LWB frontera, not a bad truck for all the criticism it's had over the years.
