This has happened twice now,
I was driving the other day and had travelled about 25 miles in traffic, so it was stop start all the time.
When I got towards the end of my journey I pressed the Brake pedal, only for it to go all the way to floor with no sign of stopping the car. If I pumped the brakes then I did get some stopping power but not much. I wasn’t looking forward to the drive home, when I got back in the car The brake were fine work no probs at all.

Is it down to fluid Temp or duff Pads/discs? I wouldn’t expect for them to fade after only 20 odd miles on normal rush hour driving. Any advice ideas would be welcome :)

That's not happened to me, but it sounds like something called pad knock-off - Scoobysport have a description of it on their website in the brakes section. Perhaps have a look and give them a call?

Could be pad knock-off, or boiled fluid. Either way, you must have been pressing on a bit.

Is your brake fluid old? If so, it might have absorbed moisture which will then boil much more readily. Flushing with some good 5.1 fluid never does any harm.

Id like to think it was pad knock-off, but I wasn't driving hard as it was all in traffic. They have done this before on the way back from Power Engineering, again not with hard driving. I guess its just as well I'm upgrading to Four Pots, braided Hoses, 294mm Groved,vented Discs & Padig Pads soon.

not wanting to spoil your party but i suggest you get your car checked ASAP. your symptoms do not sound like problems with components but rather with the system itself either;
you have a fluid leak (unlikely as you'd have probably lost all brakes by now) or;
you have a quantity of air in the system (possibly compounded by old fluid) this is more likely by what you've said.

I would put your problem down to the brake master cylinder as some times fluid can bipass the seals inside the cylinder,also just have a look inside undernieth the brake pedal to see if there is any fluid there.
