How p*ssed off am I?! There is this woman in our office who, whenever you have food, walks over and helps herself! Usually sticks her hand in crisp bags, probably not a problem for some people however, I'm very precious about my food and it hacks me off no end. Any idea's on how to stop this nuisance?! I've tried the subtle hints, the full on going off my head and keeping my food in my draw. Nothing seems to work! :( Infact on one occasion, she took the roll I was eating out of my hand, took a bite and then gave it back! How cheeky is that?!

Buy some strong flavoured crisps, McCoys Balti, and add loads of pepper (or anything similar). If she still helps herself, she's obviously going to need something less subtle ! ;)

Get yourself a bar of Exlax chocolate. Mix it with some real chocolate and make some of those rice krispy things.

Sit them on your desk and wait for her to pounce.

Then put a toilet roll in the fridge for her.

My other preferred solution is just to eat the food quicker. My snacks aren't around long enough for anyone else to help 'emselves. ;) :D

Alternatively, you could wait until she's made a coffee or whatever, and walk over and take a swig.

Out of interest, I take it she's not a PYT*? If she is, then the idea of her walking over and gobbling up whatever's on offer should be an attractive one, surely? ;) :p

I've had this before, i found the solution was to hjave a packet of peanuts with half a bottle of tabasco on them.........it worked a treat :D:D:D.

She took a hand full and just stuffed them in her mouth, what happened next was first class :D:D:D:):)

She looks like a bloke in drag (seriously) and she's 40. Plus, I'm female and the idea of any kind of liaison with her makes me feel decidedly nauseous!! :eek:

How big are her hands? :D ;) You could ask her politely (I know, again ;) ) not to help herself, but even though she has no respect for your things, you're the one who will come across as petty. Such is the way of all things.

Best bet is to buy some really unpalatable food for a couple of weeks, or just don't eat in front of her.

Get a large bag of Kettle Crisps and stick an armed mouse trap in them.

Or when she takes your food again make an obvious point in front of her of picking up the stuff and chucking it away - that would be quite insulting.

Just me but I can't even bite into something if my own husband has taken a bite - let alone a total stranger.

Report her to your HR people - this is also a form of harassment.

She's kinda my boss though!! I'm a PA to one of the directors and they handily wrote it into my job description that I have to do work for her (so she treats me like her PA). I think I have to try subtle again to start. The tabasco in peanuts sounds good though and not as bad as my original (and stupid) idea of putting rabbit droppings in a sultana box and leving them laying around on my desk! :)

Going right off the subject but a nice tale all the same.

In the gym I used to train at there was a bloke who would aways walk into the rest room and ask "has anybody got any shampoo".

This used to happen every Friday without fail.This would pi55 everbody off,so one of the lads filled a Head&Shoulders bottle full of Imac hair remover.

Then as per usual he came into the rest room,and was given the Imac,you can guess the rest.It didnt totally remove his hair,but there was large clumps of it missing,he went ballistic :D.

PS.Now I go to a posh gym that has a shampoo dispenser,but will I use it,will I hell :)

I was in the toilet cubicle and the person next to me was having a dump (nice!!), anyway, this person flushed and walked stright out the door (no hand wash!) I went into the bogs the other day (stand-ups -- I'm a bloke :D) and there was someone in a cubicle having a dump and talking on a mobile phone at the same time. You could hear the groans and grunts in his conversation, and the sploshes too!

How sick is that?
