is it possible to have the impreza debadged on the rear of the car, and added back if needed??

I've never tried, but any car can be debadged - if it's a stick on badge (I don't know off hand), just pull it off and repair the paint underneath if you damage it. If removing the badge leaves a hole underneath, you fill it/get it filled and sort out the paintwork. To quote Haynes manuals "Refitting is a reversal of removal", - if you've damaged your old badge you may need to buy a new one.

The badges are stuck on, so I guess they can be taken off!

Theres a few tutorials around I have heard a hair dryer and dental floss do the trick well

Its well easy to do and as CataIunya states there are loads of detailed instructions on the web....
