Hi Folks,
I recently had to get a couple of tyres for the WRX this week. Got a quote from my local Kwik Fit rip of garage for £156.88 fitted for 205/16 Bridgestone Ponteza RE702`s EACH!!. “Mmmm That’s kinna dear” I said. “Is that your lowest price you can do”. He replied “Yup It`s very competitive but if you can get a cheaper quote then come back and I`ll beat it sonny” Nod Wink. “Well if I find a cheaper quote then I guess I wont waste my time coming back to then” Nod Wink, and left. I popped into another branch and they quoted £148 for the same thing, fitted etc., and gave me the same price pish.
The best was yet to come, my local one man band garage supplies and fitted with new vales and balancing etc. for £163 for the pair.almost half price!!!!! It always pays to shop around, You have been warned!!!

Hmmm prices... I just fitted a new exhaust to my wife's Grans Fiesta B Reg 1.1 GL.

Prices quoted between £14 and £30 !!!!

In my experience the cheapest place has always been the local 2 man band for tyres. Not only that the quality of the advice seems to be better.
