I agree with Dave, I am totally enjoying it the way it is. I have my little fun now and again but just enjoy driving it and it costs me nothing compared to most people.

Anyway, each to there own. However the modded scoobs exhausts do sound good i must admit.

Ian,

I heard that they close the street off and have like little stalls and fair type things for kids. I guess the locals will be able to tell you where to park.

Cheers

DreXeL 15 October 2002 12:17 PM

Sideways 16 October 2002 09:02 AM

babber 16 October 2002 06:18 PM

Right then so far the 20th and the 14th are off, anyone else ? We should make a bigger effort to attend this one. I ask about a late drink again

Anyone for food (not Indian!!)

Does anyone want a room booked ?

Cheers Phill C

SteveB 16 October 2002 10:49 PM

Food,,

Pizza or Chinese - Must say the George is rather good for the oriental munchies. Set menu provided.
Anyway Phil, whats wrong with Indian ? Too spicy for you ? Just remember to stick a loo roll in the fridge before you go to bed :)

Steve.

Sideways 17 October 2002 06:57 AM

Thats a good idea Steve, book the chinese go out and have a meal and then get on one :D

babber 17 October 2002 09:31 AM

Jason,

I tend to agree Ming Courts food is lovely, although a little expensive but worth it.

So I'm happy to book Ming Court as long as I can get an understanding of number. What about Saturday 21st December ?

Cheers Phill C

PS I thought SteveB was supposed to organise our events

Sideways 17 October 2002 10:13 AM

I think you could have trouble with that date bit too close to xmas. I reckon at the beginning of Dec would be best and hopefully not clash with peoples xmas parties etc. Any comments from anyone else ??

Jas

babber 17 October 2002 11:01 AM

Ok Jas, good point, maybe I'll goto Ming Court and get some dates later ;)

Cheers Phill C

SteveB 20 October 2002 08:49 PM

Phil,

We're due a SW meet on the first weekend of December so why don't we organise for the second weekend. We could then get some deposits for the chinky(to make sure people come)

What do you think ?

Steve.

snowcrash 21 October 2002 12:02 AM

lol - now your forcing us to eat chinese food steve !!!

i have no problem with that :)

SteveB 21 October 2002 12:17 AM

We could always do the Indian, which is always very nice and potentially a good laugh. on our Co' outing last year we had a right laugh in there (singing competitions stood on the tables!)

Steve.

TAZMAN 21 October 2002 09:30 PM

any chance of gate crashing this one? my vote (4 what its worth is for Indian!! would also need a room/floor in the pub before driving home at 5mph the next day!

SteveB 21 October 2002 11:21 PM

I'm not bothered where we eat. I'll go with the flow.

Cheers

Steve.

babber 22 October 2002 11:40 AM

Tazman,

You may come along no problems, but I really do hate Indian mate ;)

Cheers Phill C

Big Bear 22 October 2002 04:43 PM

What other restaurants are there in Sodbury ? I tried the Tai place , the food was ok but there wasn't much of it .
