Just incase you are interested, you can have your scoob decked out in leather for £1200 retro.

why dont scoobs have leather to start with...?

Mine DID have leather, but they arent buckets (its a 96)
No idea if it was a factory fitted extra..but after 2 years of ownership we hate it. Hot and sticky in summer, cold in winter.

Its going when I find some buckets.

Seriously though, I really like the material the new age seats (can't comment on the classics) are covered it. Even with a/c driving around with leather seats in SA for me is something to be avoided. Each unto their own.
