I have attended to all the items at the 2 year service except the following, and would appreciate advice based on the service schedule:

1. Transmission and diff gear oil
Is this just the one reservoir and where is it drained? Anything need doing with the rear diff? Any hints welcome as to what is actually in the service schedule.

2. Fuel filter
Is the only one on the pickup of the fuel pump or is there another one to be changed also?

JB, fuel filter is the black shiny canister on the nearside of thr engine bay, it has a few small dia rubber pipes attached....replace with new canister.

Dont know what is in the 'sched' re trans and diff.

Trans and diff oil is all in one, big nut on the bottom of the g/box should do it, re-fill down the dipstick hole. Might take a while!

Remember there is also a diff on the rear that also requires the oil to be changed.

As a matter of course

Every 7,500 miles - Oil & filter
Every 15,000 miles - Air filter, Diff oil
Every 30,000 miles - Plugs, Fuel filter, Brake fluid, Coolant change
Every 45,000 miles - Timing belt

yeah drain the rear diff too. there are two plugs on the rear of the diff. remove the lower one to drain the old oil out. then refit the plug when drained completely.
now remove the upper plug and pour in the new oil until it starts to flow out of that same hole. this ensures the level is correct.
replace plug.

the plugs are taper threads, so you'll probably need a torque wrench to open them.
