After getting my STi II serviced by Powerstation, and being very impressed with their quality and service (excuse the pun http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif ), I am seriously thinking about letting them lose on my suspension.
I have read many previous posts, where people have raved about how much better the car feels after having the bumpsteer and geometry done. But what I want to know is, does the car actually handle better or just feel better, or are the two things the same. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif Ian. STi II. |
Ian - do a search in Suspension for this much talked about subject.
Personally, I couldn't believe how much better the car feels since having it done (but then the factory settings were way out!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif ). I would totally recommend it!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Matt http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif |
The car handles and feels better it has soooo much more control and grip, just get it done it was the best 100 notes ive spent on my moneypit (scoob)

Ian,
Definitely worth the money. Before I had my MY00 done she used to understeer terribly on roundabouts. Now I can attack them with much greater confidence. Point the car to go there......and she does! Jerome |
Yeah no doubt about its the best and cheapest mod!

Thanks guys, guess who I will be talking to in the morning http://www.plauder-smilies.de/person/bandit.gif

The girlfriend just paid to get mine done for my christmas present. Instead of understeer you can get perfect 4 wheel drifts out of islands and silly speeds out of tight corners.
Just don't get scared and let off while cornering hard or t may hurt. Jake did you pay £100 inc vat at powerstation as I got charged £140. inc vat on Saturday? |
