Well as it says, has any of you heard about this, seams to be very populer it cleans out all your hidden spyware.

Spyware even gets in your cookies, you download it from
http://www.lavasoft.de/arcade/index.html

also while i'm here what do you all think of AVG as a virus checker?

anti-spyware are essential these days. definitely install it to clean out any trojans or spyware cookies. have a look at www.safersite.com nd www.bullguard.com as well.

i dont use AVG, so cant comment on it. me using trend micro online anti-virus scan. i did use norton once but it slow down my PC!

I use ad-aware quite frequently and it always picks something up like cookies, registry entries, ad dll's etc.
Be careful if you also use Kazaa because ad-aware picks up a DLL that is essential for the operation of Kazaa (though there is a replacement DLL you can download that blocks Kazaa ads).
For AV i use Net Associates Virus Scan which works well, slows the PC sown a bit, but wouldnt do without it.

i use both ad-aware and pestpatrol. pestpatrol can find some/certain spyware cookies that ad-aware cant.
