Don't know how to describe this so bear with me.
Under the rear lights and above the rear bumper on MY97 is a small panel about 1" by 6" that bends round the rear corners.
This seems to have moved on mine as a gap of about 3/4" has opened up at the front edge. No impact as far as I know and it seems absolutely solid. Anyone know how I can get it back into place?
Cheers
Alasdair

You need to remove the rear light cluster, the panel you describe is fixed to the light on the underside with poz screws...take it off and have a gander.

You might just need to 'persuade' it back ;)

As MD said, it comes off with the light cluster, But, you might have a bit of a job getting the cluster off, they are stuck in, as well as bolted, and the sealer used can be a very good glue, so you'll need to be careful not to bend the panels when you take the lights out, you may think I'm joking, but believe me I'm not.
Good luck
Ron.

I'll 2nd that !

Try a hair dryer to 'soften' the sealer....and you may have to 'tap' the studs (gently) to break the seal.

I used acrylic mastic to re-fit my lights....some people call it decorators caulk, doesnt 'stick' like silicone and seals out water ok.

:)
