This may seem like a stupid question, so please forgive me,

But are there fog lights under the STi fog lamp covers or are they purely cosemtic with nothing underneath ?

No lights I'm afraid - just the holes, although Scoobysport do some nice Cibies...

Just nice big covers that get stone chipped :(

If you really want the clean STi look but want lights then you can fit standard front fogs (as fitted to UK turbo's) & the STi covers fit over these - even with higher wattage bulbs they pale compared to Cibies/PIAA's though......so......fit Cibies/PIAA's then colour code the slip on covers, add some STI graphics & hey presto !

I got fog lights on my STI :):) came as standard, Import of course, but then I got Air con too :):)

Just for clarification, not on a Prodrive car they don't.......

I'm the same as the Esoteric beast.

Fogs not really needed with projectors. Just switch the dip beam down to have a shorter throw. Works like a dream, way better than the fogs on my old MY00/MY98, hardly any upward scatter.

Oh, UK STI's also have aircon as standard. Just thought I'd mention that.
