Shotly I and gonna be getting an RB5 (not seen one yet, but I'm getting one) I was wondering if there is anything I should look for when viewing it?

make sure the numbers all match & get a hpi check & full inspection, you want a service history as well & as many receipts & mot's etc as possible to prove its milage, age condition etc.
also look on www.sidc.co.uk\faq |
Rob,
first thing to do is get an insurance quote, depending on age, area etc these will vary (but if your under 30 your going to be looking at around 1k normally), then check out the running costs (tyres, 2 services per year etc) and only then go looking for a scoob. As Barge has said, you want full service history (Subaru is preferred) as many receipts etc, HPi'd, any upgraded security is a plus ;) and if its still under warranty thats even better ;):D Tony:D |
Check it's a real one!!! I've heard there maybe some standard Turbos dressed up and sold as RB5s around.
