I went mad on these in the mid-80s and bought lots from a chinese man whose name and shop will not be mentioned as I was only 14.

Ninja-to (sword)
blowpipe
nunchakus
shurikens (throwing stars)
throwing knife
tanto (short sword)
sai
balisong knife

Still have them (somewhere....)

Anyone got a blowpipe as these are megga fun? I lost all 10 darts that came with mine and struggled to get replacements due to the crackdown in the late 80s.

Nick

Why don't you send a photo of yourself using your stuff to this lot?

I have a set of nunchakus

P1Fanatic 17 September 2002 06:47 PM

Hmm not really but have:

1. Replica sword from Blade - looks sweet.
2. Gil Hibben Rambo 3 Knife which makes Crocodile Dundees knife look small.
3. A set of 3 Gil Hibben throwing knives (he's a world champion knife thrower and designer) similar (but smaller) to the one used by Steven Seagal in Under Siege when he chops the onions then throws the knife into the board (and later kills a hijacker with it).

Plus other random blank firers, Co2 pistols, air rifles, knifes etc.

Simon.

heh heh
This takes me back !
Had some very cool shurikens once upon a time ..
A really nice balisong Knife which some guy nicked off me in school
And a set of Nunchakus which are still knocking around here at home somewhere ...
Ah yes the good old 80's :D

Can you use the nunchakus? I mean the basic moves NOT actually smacking foes around the head!
I used to practise with mine in the back garden most nights after school. I got pretty quick with them.
They are 12" rounded, in gloss black with ribbed ends for improved grip, and ball-bearing swivel-action.

As I entered my late teens I found a differnet use for them involving pleasing girlfriends - the gloss paint now appears to be matt on one of the "chucks"!

No, as I wasn't experienced enough!
My friend was using Big Feast ice-creams on his girlfiend at that time!!

Got a short samurai sword from Japan when i was 16, mum and dad have it now as i tended to get the sword out when i was pissed, usually getting stuck in the table or the wall. It is well sharp.

There were 10 of us bought them, bloody expensive mind, mine was the only that did not get lost on the flight over or confiscated.
