I do believe that the next nrth Staffs meet was cunningly being planned whilst at the C&F one.

Goober, want to do the honours? :D

Many thanks to the peeps who turned up - big hello to Dale, thanks for making it :D and also to John the Evo owner :D

Tis a shame the regulars couldn't make it :( hopefully there'll be mroe at the next one - in the mean time - roll on the South Staffs one :D

mike_s14 12 September 2002 02:48 PM

couldn't make it last night, had to change tyres on the bike for racing this sunday :D

I don't suppose goober mentioned I beat him by half a second on the 0 - 60 sprint at trax ;)

and that was in the wet with rear wheel drive

trebor 12 September 2002 07:52 PM

It was nice to see all that turned up last nite

Rob

Mike I may have lost that battle, but it doesn't mean I'll lose the war! I'm going off to sulk for a while, I'll be back though...

Excellent time though, do you reckon you could crack 5 on a dry track without a boot full of camping gear?

As to the next meet, I'll have a word with Rob and post a venue, map, etc shortly.

Gareth 'burnt clutch' Adams

mike_s14 13 September 2002 07:58 AM

goober does this mean that its time for more mods if you want to win the odd battle :)

under 5 secs is in sight, in the dry no camping stuff in :D

I was in another part of the world. Should be able to make next one.

chrisp 13 September 2002 12:59 PM

Right then we need a pub and a day, enough of the endless pages and pages of drivel about feeding the dog and painting the kids etc.

WHERE and WHEN !!!!!!

Otherwise I will decide again if it reaches a second page without an answer ;)

goober 13 September 2002 08:15 PM

Will everyone just chill out, I'm seeing Rob on sunday to sort it out, then all will be revealed!

Gareth

PS Mike, I've got some new wheels, they'll look good but they will not make it any faster, you wait till I fit the 'touring car' style sun strip though, I'll be looking at the low 4's easy!

DeanF 14 September 2002 06:54 PM

Little Miss WRX 16 September 2002 10:54 PM

trebor 17 September 2002 08:31 PM

Just 2 CW one either side of the pub about 50 yards each way should cause no probs plenty of good tramac across from the Greenman. All thats left is the date 16th would be good for me as i
am on my holls week before.

CharlieWhiskey 18 September 2002 01:14 PM

trebor 18 September 2002 08:25 PM

I was refering to the ones close to the pub ,you should know there,s more than just the 523 which have no gatso,s

Little Miss WRX 18 September 2002 08:34 PM

Staffordshire is slowly filling up with more and more GATSO's

I guess the police priorities are changing.

Fighting crime - ooooh we'll pass on that one thank you, revenue making sounds far more fun

goober 18 September 2002 09:43 PM

Well we have a destination and a date now, question is who is going to come along?

As Rob says, there are some nice roads close to the pub, we'll just have to work around the cameras. They didn't cause too many problems on the A34 meets?

Gareth

Ps Cah anyone post the Map Link?

CharlieWhiskey 18 September 2002 10:58 PM
