Is there a good place to buy PC's/bits on the net? I spec'd and built my last one but haven't really got the time do it again (well I can't be ar5ed to tell the truth!) I'm after a multimedia one (for games & stuff) A company where you can tell them what your after and they do the rest would be ideal..and of course " with much cheapness"...

Would cut of me conkers before using Watford. Ripped a mate off royally.
Scan are cheap, but returns is a nightmare in my experience. Look at their today only page for bargains. Dabs are excellent for customer service in my experience. Overclockers.co.uk are good, but customer serivce is rather slow on DOA stuff. Two weeks for a motherboard in my case, which isn't good. They have been trying to get better tho. Have a quick search for local places too - you can go and shout at these guys if something goes pear shaped. For the delivery and hassle, it might be worth it... For on-line, do look at Dabs. Most impressed. |
Agreed with the comments about scan.co.uk. They are cheaper than most, but their tech support is naff, and returns is a nightmare (speaking from personal experience here).
Used dabs.com several times and been pretty impressed with the service... Iain |
