LOL http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Gotta get me that 200bhp one. Is it compatabile with PPP? - Given Mike Wood's cautionary note re down pipes. Perhaps Mike can clarify.

After and expensive month with Navtrak,Wax Wizard, Window Tints, Quickshift and PPP deposit I'm looking for another car "fix", but a cheap one http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif.

What's the nicest air freshner? Don't want:
to smell like toilet cleaner
a dangly one e.g. feu orange (sets off the ultasonics)
Ones that stick on the air vents - blocks the thing that moves them about.
a silly one - e.g. wallace & grommit!!!
something that fits in the cigarette lighter - radar detector in there (more important http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif )

any ideas?

If you're after a truly sensible air freshener, Halfords do a tasteful black oblong box shaped, ultra powerful, airfreshener. Can't remember the name, but will be with all the other air fresheners. They work too. I burst a whole bottle of octane booster in the boot and used two of these to mask the smell. One in the boot and one on the dash. They have little sticky pads to stick wherever you want. I put mine on the dash and it looked a bit like a radar detector. Would be funny to see the face of a copper who rips it off thinking it was one. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I use nutradol. It can be quite strong so just uncover half of it. It is quite nice, not too strong and comes in a nice black stick on holder thing

DT - get some essential oils. Put one or two drops in the air vents once a week. All smell luverly

p.s. You can get a massive variety which include effects like calming, stimulating etc. Might also be useful when you are sitting behind some old codger in the outside lane. Quick snort of the appropriate essence and you won't care. I've heard that paki black is good for this... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Ooo-er missus, a bit of in car stimulation wouldn't go a miss! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Is that fully synth essential oil? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Halfords do one called "Poppy Coral"

It's a tasty oval metallic thing that sits on your dash and smells nice. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Seriously I think they're pretty good (apart from the poncy name). Comes in all kinds of colours, so you can have a discreet dark coloured one or better still an STi pink one! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

DT, 'smelling' is a contrast phenomena.

Cheapest would be to not take a shower for about 5 weeks. Would cost you £ 0.0, you won't smell the car anymore, and it would save a few pennies in water, less phosphates released into nature, etc...
