Hi All

As you will know now, the world record for driving a car sideways is now ours at 2 hours 11 minutes and 18 seconds!

I cannot say how much all the support helped with motivation to keep it together..

thanks a million to everyone who pledged and everyone who got up early / stayed up late (rsquire) to tune in.

Apologies for the down time on the bbs (leave it alone for FIVE MINUTES!!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif )

Taking the car to Billing Now for the Jap Car Meet and will post a full account and de-brief later today.

Thanks again

Simon

Sammy,

Top job on the stickers, the car looked great. And they were still on and perfect even after 2:11:18 in the 'rain'. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Cheers

Simon

I think I owe you an apology.. Seems that when I rang Harj to find out what was happening with the attempt it was right as you finished..

I just hope the extra electrons floating through the atomsphere at MIRA didn't upside your delicate balance..

Awesome effort mate http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
