No.... I havent left the village bike hanging on the street corner again http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
For those people who have imported from the Continent, has anyone converted from left hand drive to right drive? What was involved, and how much does the new dash/ work cost? Depending on when I move back to the UK, the Turbo version might be on sale here in North America - at a way way cheaper price. Might be a way for me to go? Any thoughts? |
If you do buy a LHD car, it is probably going to be a pain to convert it. Just keep it LHD. It is not really that bad driving a LHD on the left side of the road. It only is a problem when overtaking, but it doesn't hinder you as much as you would think.

Coyldn`t agree more Wreckleford.
A waste of money getting it converted and you risk a bothched job too. After owning 2 LHD integrale evo`s I`m quite happy on the left and plan to save££ by getting left hookers in the future. Ferrari 355`s LHD are stating to come in at just under 50K, very tempting indeed if you`re feeling flush! Massive savings can be had, but insurance tends to get a little loaded, but nothing severe. It is not the bother you`d imagine at all, the only real difficulty is when stuck behind a lorry on an A rd when you can`t `see through it'. In town it can be an advantage. |
