OK, I've had these for a while now, the dips are ace, but the main beams are far too high.
Can anyone out there tell me which way to turn the screws at the bottom to lower the beams, as I've lost the instructions, and they're not the easiest things in the world to fiddle with to find out?
Cheers guys. Alcazar

All I can tell you is they are 8astards to get right!

I even refitted my oe lights at one point cos I got the ump :)

When you look at the lense, you need to (obviously) adjust the nuts (8mm) so that the lense face turns down a bit...I went up our local lanes and covered the dips to get it right.

Trial and error really :)

Clockwise (tighten) lower nuts to lower main beam.

Cheers m8, will give that a try tonite- no tomorrow, it's pub-quiz tonite.
BTW, I could see what a git they were going to be when I fitted 'em, so I "modified the bodywork" in the region of the lower nut, with a soft faced hammer. Got more clearance now.
I've also seperately fused each pair of lights (main/dip, main and auxilliary HID's), so that I can pull fuses from those I don't want working to set the others up. I had a similar system on a rally car some years ago using 2-way switches; "set" and "drive". "Set" put them on regardless for alignment, and "drive" put them into the main beam relay circuit.
That was in the days when there was loads of space under car bonnets.
Alcazar.

Sounds like youve got your head screwed on right :)

I did that mod to the metal at the lower nut too!!!

I also dropped a long 8mm socket down into the undertray one night, I had to ask Scoobysport to 'retrieve' it at the next service :D

Best o' luck.
