A mate off mine was installing lets say an antispeeding device when he came across a green snap connector unplugged.its location was, look under where the pedals are and look upwards , upon reconnecting this snap connector his check enging light came on!!
any ideas as to what this green snap connector is??

Probably the connector for resetting the ECU. There are two black connectors and two green connectors. Whilst resetting the ECU you connect green to green and black to black.

These should NOT be connected under normal circumstances.

Yeah its part of the diagnostic systme for owners. Loads of threads about it on here. There should also be some black ones. Different combinations of these give different things.

Search for info on what they do, its things like error codes from the ecu etc.

Unplug them for driving!!:D
