Ok, had a quick look, not rocket science but I would like a few pointers on how the standard air panel filter is changed :)
I do remember seeing pictured instructions but buggered if I know where they were! |
I just unbolted the 4 nuts on each corner, lifted the top off (bit of a squeeze) removed old filter and popped new one in, making sure it was sat right at the bottom. took me about 5 mins tops :)

RTFM!

John, I think it means something a bit unsocialable :(
Read the F***ing Manual??? |
Thatll learn me not to start a post, eat dinner, leather the windows on the car and come back to post the thing!!!
Oh well :) |
I find it easier to remove the rubber pipe first the one with the bend it and watch the plastic box in the pipe work has a small pipe going to the boost solnoid with is easily snapped! doh..
There is no much too it just undo it all and remove it slowly checking that stuff is not still attached etc.. JGM :) |
:D
I was being serious though. I changed mine for an ITG and it does tell you in the manual. Hope it helps. P.S I too work in IT and find manaul reading sometimes helps :) |
|
Well, I followed Contigo's friendly advice and read the manual :D
I somehow thought you had to take things off, now think it was actualy a post about removing the airbox rather than changing the filter :D Oh, and Contigo you have spelt manual wrong :p RTFD (Dictionary) :D [Edited by mega_stream - 8/30/2002 8:37:20 AM] |
