Yes I did honestly. Had a new arrival to the family so the scoob reluctantly went.
After reading Autocar the other week with the test of the new STi against the new evo 7 they both look a bit tasty. I hope to get my hands on a proper car again maybe next year. Hopefully one of these two. Anyone got any comments or first hand experience? |
Julian,
Welcome to the diesel club on Scoobynet! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gifThere are a few of us lurking on here. I reckon it's about time a new Diesel forum was opened! I used to have a couple of Scoobs, but ended up with a BMW 330D Sport. Still, it's not all bad! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Matt |
Mattoz what do you think of the 330d?
The figures suggest ooooodles of torque. |

Julian,
The 330D is awesome on the torque front. It has about 290ft/lbs between 1750 and 3500 rpm. It'll pull away from a UK Turbo from 80-120 in top gear roll-ons! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif That was 4 up in both cars with luggage though. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Well worth a test drive, but then you might end up wanting one!
