Subaru dealer will have all the facts, but there are a couple of options if you car is still just under the 3 year warranty:-
£380 for 2 years with capped mileage and I paid £327 for one extra year's unlimited mileage.

This is assuming that your car is a UK model and has a full stamped , on time, service book at a Subaru dealer.

For aftermarket warranties it is a leap into the dark, but you might want to read the threads about Warranty Holdings before making a decision. The best one (On paper) was WarrantyWise but this became nearly as expensive as the Subaru one in the end.

ps £327 or £2000 for a new short engine. Glad I took mine out !

Yes thats wot i am thinking,had trouble with a motorbike engine in the past so would like to cover myself with the sub as a bike engine is peanuts copared to scooby

Flat how much was a 2 year unlimited warranty?

From memory (!) £580 for unlimited 2 years - couldn't afford that
